WOLF ROLLS

WOLF ENGINEERING AND MILLWRIGHTS P/L title
Rolls are the working surface of any milling process.

Our rolls come from Fundiciones Balaguer in Spain and they dedicate all their efforts towards achieving the highest standard of quality and uniformity in the production of cast rolls.  The company was founded in 1916 and it was from 1944 with the incorporation of new systems in spin or centrifugal casting and high foundry technology, that they started to make all kinds of rolls for the milling and crushing of wheat, corn, oil seeds, paints, chocolate, etc.

The properties of chilled cast iron are high hardness coupled with high compressive strength, which results in wear resistance.     It is the chill that serves as the grinding surface of the roll.  That surface is usually corrugated to provide a cutting action.  Only the highest quality raw materials, which are all ISO-9001: 2000 certified are used in the production process.

At Wolf Engineering and Millwrights we are able to re-groove a variety of roll chills including Sangatti, Buhler, Ocrim, Satake, Renn and our own Wolf Rolls.  We grind and flute or frost rolls to client's specifications.  We currently re-groove rolls for many Australian and Overseas Flour Mills and also for the Stock Feeding Industry.  We can grind rolls from 100mm long with all standard diameters.

We also manufacture our own steel rolls here in our factory.
